Design, make and wear your own fashion gear. This class will involve hand sewing, painting on fabric, jewelry design, fashion illustration, knitting, and learning to do fashion hairstyles. Your teacher, a fashion designer, will inspire you to try new things and express your personal style! Instructor: Britt Rynearson has been teaching art and design for 14 years and has worked extensively with students ages 3 to 18. She sold her own line of jewelry when she was 11 at local farmers markets! In the last few years Britt has taught for Cornish College of the Arts, Pratt Fine Arts Center, Gage Academy, Coyote Central, Centrum, and the Northwest School. Children in Kindergarten-5th grade will learn pet ownership responsibilities, positive interaction, basic training techniques, and how to safely interact with puppies and dogs known to them and rules for animals unknown to them. The K9 Kid's Camp will last 6 weeks and each camper will receive a certificate of completion, camo bandanna, and will earn Boot Camp points during training for personalized dog tags and other awards.

The dates for this years camp are July 25 to 29 at Lakewood Retreat Center. It is going to be awesome in every way, especially if you come! Plus swimming, archery, crafts, human foosball and more!
