Animal Camp Jamaica is a 13 day adventure program that takes place on the island of Jamaica. Campers spend each morning at the ocean and each afternoon exploring different parts of the island. This program is limited to 13 campers per session. 573-458-2125

4 Classes, No Class 3/10 (Spring Break) Homeschool PE for 6-13 year olds PE 101 is a 90 minute class that allows students to explore many sports in a short time. This program is designed so that students can be ACTIVE and learn about athletics and team sports. Each class begins with a dynamic warm-up and stretch. We rotate through agility stations and drills. Theyll peel back the layers and discover how their complex organs work: learn about disease, how our body fights back, the role of mucus; and digestion, from spit to….. well, you get the idea. Theyll uncover how the brain works through their own personal webcam, investigate the impact of food, exercise and sleep; and discover how bones and muscles are like cookies and pancakes. Campers will perform hands-on experiments as they learn about body temperature and fevers, take blood pressures, bandage wounds, and create herbal medicines. One of the most difficult aspects of musical theatre is being able to sing and dance at the same time. This camp will help to develop this ability. Working hard to prepare a selection of show tunes for a live performance will give the campers quality experience and better prepare them to participate in musicals at school and in the community. Campers will perform in large and small groups while also allowing each child to take the spotlight with a singing or dance solo within the group numbers. This is an opportunity for your child to build a talent that many young performers struggle with. INSTRUCTOR MICHAEL PAGE has been teaching theater for 8 years and has been choreographing in local community theaters for the past 10 years. He recently received a BA in Theater and Dance from Christopher Newport University. He currently works as a Music and Movement Teacher at VHBC Preschool as well as teaches classes at LTA, Mount Vernon REC Center, and Browne Academy. He teaches private acting, dancing, and guitar lessons from his home.
