UCALs Full Day Camps are similar to our Summer Camp days: three art classes in mixed-grade groups ( K-3 & 4-8) in a variety of media and genres, outdoor recess ( weather permitting) and indoor free play, with lunch and snack provided. Drop-off starts at 8 am, with the first art class at 9am. Options include a day until 3 pm or 6pm. We sent our 5 year old son and our 10 year old daughter to Liberty Lake Day Camp. This camp is for children ages 4 to 15. The aim of the camp is to teach children skills that will make them successful in life. Some of the areas campers focus on include: teamwork, friendship, independence and confidence. Teen Camp in Macon Georgia for students age 12 or older. Camp begins on July 11th and ends July 15th. The week includes lessons and services geared for teens with the theme "Glow in the Dark," games, music and arts, swimming, and an incredible time with friends. The summer will be gone before we know it, but we are still galloping full speed ahead which is why Tomten Farm and Sanctuary will be offering a special mentoring program to animal loving kids ages 11-16. This unique program is designed for kids with the desire to learn more about the day-to-day operations of an animal sanctuary and get hands on experience with our rescues. Taught by our long term volunteer and intern, UNH Equine Science major, Aileen W., it’s sure to be chock of personal attention, education, hard work, and more animals than you can count. Join us at the farm 2-3 weekdays from July 10th to the 31st, 10:30-2:30 and help us go above and beyond to maintain happy, healthy animals 365 days a year. As always, safety comes first so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing (closed toed, hard shoes, bug spray and sunscreen) and bring a signed release, a copy parent/guardian license or federal ID (feel free to black out addresses, birth dates, and SS or S numbers) drinks, lunch, and an appetite to contribute and get involved with one of your favorite rescues! This past year, social media has been flooded with violent images of the over policing of marginalized communities. We have felt the detrimental impact of state sanctioned violence, which has led to too many of our children, parents, friends, family and community members behind bars. CJNY member organizations continue to do the critical organizing and advocacy work to resist the structural racism within our justice and education systems. 1st Session - Vocal Performance - YSCP
Club Description: The Vocal Performance Club is for students who really love to sing and who would like to develop their skills further. The class includes group singing (choir) but also emphasizes vocal technique with individual attention. Students, who feel ready for a challenge beyond group singing, will be encouraged and supported in their preparation for solo presentations. Repertoire will be chosen according to the abilities of the students, including folk songs, songs from movies and musicals, jazz favorites, and art songs. Older students are, especially, encouraged to enroll. Goals for February to May include developing students individual vocal technique and exploring repertoire which will highlight the abilities of each. The class will also prepare for presentations at school events and other opportunities. Instructor Bio: The class will be taught by Carol Pharo, B.A. in Music from Penn State, M.M. from New England Conservatory, an Advanced Certificate in Singing from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and a diploma in fortepiano from The Royal Conservatory in the Hague. Ms. Pharo is the Artistic Director of The Music Academy in State College. She has directed children in the operas Amahl and the Night Visitors and LOrfeo and composed... 8142379727.0

This week delves deeper into the Lego Mindstorms robotics systems. Attendees will learn more about programming the Mindstorms robots and practice more advanced build techniques while making some cool Lego robot projects. This camp runs from 9AM-3PM, M-F. Lunch is provided. This camp is open to students entering 6th-9th grade. Campers must have taken the Middle School Graphics and Robotics camp, or the FLL camp, or have significant experience with FLL competitions prior to attending this camp. 801-585-1726

Camp Quest locations around North America provide a traditional sleepaway summer camp experience with a wide range of activities including sports, crafts, games, swimming, and campfires. In addition to our traditional summer camp activities, Camp Quest offers educational activities focused on critical thinking, ethics, scientific inquiry, philosophy, and comparative religion. Camp Quest is open to all children and teenagers within the age range, but it is particularly geared towards building a community for children from atheist, agnostic, humanist and other freethinking families.
