Being a counselor-in-training (CIT) is a leadership opportunity for high school students. CITs lead younger campers during their camp sessions, helping younger kids make friends, try new things, and have a great time. CIT camp is an opportunity learn all the skills it takes to be an amazing counselor, from leading songs and games to public speaking, time management and group leadership. Being a CIT is one of the best experiences at Camp Talahi! You must attend this training week to be a CIT for summer 2016. My 10 year old daughter loves participating in Girl Scouts. When she asked about going to this camp I got her signed up right away. She had fun meeting other campers and she came back home with a vision of who she wants to be in her future. Cant decide what sport you want to focus on this summer? Try a bunch of them with All-Sports Camp! Each day will bring a new sport, with new skills and new scrimmage games. Whether it is flag football, basketball, baseball, soccer, or dodgeball, you are sure to have fun and learn something new about all the sports we play during the week. Sign up for both camps and only pay $1000.00 instead of $1100.00. Kids will have fun learning the fundamentals of basketball as well as learn off the court life-skills. Activities include drills, full-court scrimmages, an All-Star game, skills challenge, three-point contest, free throw contest, and even a slam dunk contest! Each camper will receive a participation award, jersey, water bottle and lunch. The goal of the camp is to provide a fun and safe environment for your child to learn and enjoy. Also, gain an understanding of diet, major bones and muscles, and first aid training. Each student must wear a PE uniform during class.
