My 5 year old daughter loved Camp Galileo. Since they group children by ages, she got to meet other children with similar interests. She was having so much fun she didn’t realize she was also learning about science and art. My 9 year old son enjoyed the outdoor activities. His favorite game was playing Star Wars tag. Our Day Camp at Fiddlers Elbow incorporates many activities in a camp day. We will also include golf, tennis, and swimming. We teach children the value of teamwork, cooperation and commitment which are the essential elements of success in sports and activities, as well as in life. Hindi Lesson for Age 3-8 year-old - Henrys House
Give your child a head start by providing them the opportunity to learn a new language. Class sizes are very small (Maximum of 8) which allows us to adapt instruction to each childs personal learning needs. Every two to three weeks we have a new theme for instruction. Cultural holidays for specific target languages and major US holidays are included in the main teaching theme. Children learn basic conversation topics that are age appropriate. What sets Little Linguists apart is our individual approach and our culture-infused curriculum. Exploring Nature Camp - Churchill Park
Outdoor exploration and basics of ecology are the focus of this week. Well explore the woods, prairie and wet areas. Campers will roll logs looking for slugs and centipedes and learn why dark, damp places are important. Theyll wade in the water to net tadpoles and frogs - discovering that muddy and polluted water are different. Well crawl through the tall grasses to get a bugs eye view of the world. This is a hands-on, mind-on, and mud-on camp! A detailed letter will be sent prior to camp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please be sure to bring a water bottle, snack, and apply sunscreen.
