MS Programming with Processing Week 3 - Merrill Engineering Building
This camp uses the Processing programming language to learn more about programming while making interactive illustrations, animations, and simple games. The Processing language is based on the popular Java language and is designed to appeal to visual artists, so this is a good way to get started in "real" programming. This camp runs from 9AM-3PM, M-F. Lunch is provided. This camp is open to students entering 7th-10th grade. Campers must have taken the Middle School Graphics and Robotics camp prior to this camp. 801-585-1726

Our always popular Day Camp is a favorite for many children ages 4-13. This session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The cost includes breakfast, lunch and a snack. This is a great introduction to camp life and activities and focuses on the all-time favorite camp activities of swimming, archery, hiking, songs, kayaking, gaga pit, bouldering wall, crafts, and games. Depending on the age and abilities of our youngest day campers, some activities may be adjusted or modified to be age appropriate. Day Camp has an optional Thursday overnight, allowing children to get a taste of resident camp. The Thursday Overnight includes dinner and an evening snack. Participants learn about nutrition and physical fitness through informational speakers, recreational activities and field trips. Participants must attend the first and last week of the program. Parents of participants are required to attend 3 meetings to educate the family on the program and teaching healthy living at home. First parent meeting is June 1st from 6-7p at Banner Childrens Medical Center. Parents are required to attend the pre-camp meeting to sign health screening waivers and receive the camp calendar.
