This camp is an introduction into the world of robotics. Campers will be introduced to six simple machines and how they are incorporated into more complex machines. Campers will learn about circuits and power sources as they build our Mars-like RC Rover. The radio-controlled RC Rover is capable of performing 23 experiments and activities. Campers will also have fun constructing our Aluminum Can Robot and will work in the areas of observation, experimentation and trial and error as they build, race, and experiment with their robots. Campers will be able to take home the robots they build for hours of fun after the camp week has finished! Price includes a lab fee of $45. 805-570-1988

For him, the freedom to be active in a beautiful country environment, play games, and swim was important (and he learned a lot about nature along the way). Moon Walk: Teen Pagan Camp - La Mesa, CA
All Paths Welcome. If you are a teen, please join us at Briercrest Park in La Mesa from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday, October 10th for a jam-packed metaphysical teen workshop! Kid's Campout with the Prickly Pear Living History Museum - San Antoni
Do you want to help your kids build a connection to nature, but aren’t sure how? Do you struggle to get them away from screens? On March 19th and 20th Government Canyon State Natural Area and the Prickly Pear Living History Museum will be co-hosting a camping event for kids ages 10-16 and their parents. No screens allowed, but no one will be bored. Instead, we’ll talk about how local Native Americans survived and thrived in the same places we now call our home. For hands-on learning we’ll have reproduction tools, weapons, and natural resources for everyone to explore. Along the way, kids discover how to be hike leaders and why it’s important to be good caretakers of the land. We’ll provide most of the equipment. Maximum of two kids and two adults per group, so that more kids can enjoy the experience. Space is limited to 12 people. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED! Our last event filled up fast.
