2016 Patriot Youth Football Camp - Lincoln City, IN
Patriot Football Starts Here! Our 2016 Youth Football Camp for incoming 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders will be held on July 25-26, 6:00pm - 8:00pm CST. Camp Fee is $30 - Must have order form and payment by July 18th to guarantee a shirt. This year's theme is COMMISSION based on Isaiah 6:8 "And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” We have been saved, reedemeed, given a new identity as sons and daughters of the King. We have been COMMISSIONED to something greater than going through the motions of everyday life. Join us this year as we take three days to dive into this theme through worship, prayer, teaching of the word, team activities and so much more! Registration opens June 1st. Kids Camp (Columbus Day No School) Ages 11 to 16 - Plano, IL

Undersea Cartoon Characters - Valle Verde Elementary
Instructor: Pamela Howett () Room: D-5 In this engaging class students will draw favorite undersea animals, including dolphins, sea stars, clownfish and more while learning fundamentals of art. Our fun projects are geared towards developing drawing skills within each class, as well as encouraging individual creativity and expression. While many of the projects are guided, each student works with his or her own vision and produces a unique finished piece. This class helps children develop cognitive skills, motor skills, social skills, and both verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Weeks 5-8 PM: 420 Racing Program (Session 2) - NESS
Come learn what it takes to be successful in fleet and team racing (the fun and challenging form of sailing as a team sport). Our experienced race coaches will challenge students to perfect their boat handling techniques, with the skipper and crew developing and refining coordination and mutual reliance. Students will work on improving and refining their boat-handling skills and developing together as a two-person team. Students will be challenged to perfect their upwind and downwind sailing techniques and will learn to better use hiking straps, tiller extensions, and sail controls and will develop their spinnaker and trapeze skills. Students will expand their knowledge of wind, weather, and tides, and will work on basic racing techniques and rules. Students will be encouraged to compete in the many local 420 regattas that we tow boats to by water. All students will be under the supervision of our race coaches in class and at local regattas. In addition to fleet racing, coaches will teach the techniques, tactics and rules of team racing through practice drills and a practice-race format. CLASS OBJECTIVES & GOALS: Childrens natural acting ability comes to life as they learn basic acting skills, stage direction, group interaction and the importance of individual scene work as well as the power of an ensemble. Through listening, observing, improvisational exercises, vocalizing, and other theatre games, beginners take the stage, which in turn enhances their confidence and self-esteem. Intermediate and more advances students move on to more detailed scene work, acting technique and character development as they hone skills that will serve them well both on and off the stage.
