Wonderful Program
Before settling on the 4-H Center for our daughter's summer camp we had the chance to take a tour. We were very impressed. The bunkrooms were spotless. Although I can only imagine what will happen when the kids move in! They have a full program that is sure to keep the kids busy and challenged throughout their stay. Summer Camp Week 1 - Ages 4-12 - First Free Church
CAMP DETAILS Musical Theater Week Thank you for the music! In this camp, students will have fun exploring their own personal voices through songs and dances from various musicals! In addition to drama and improv games that foster theater skills in creativity, self-expression and teamwork, campers will create their own show that incorporates songs from their favorite musicals. Throughout the week we will also work together to create prop, costume and set pieces to use in our culminating original show that highlights our collaborative efforts! Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Moving Stories Week In this camp, we will explore a variety of childrens literature through story dramatization. Students will play drama games, sing songs, create puppets, write their own poems inspired by books and act out their favorite stories. Novice Tennis Camp - Red Morton Park
Enjoy top-flight instruction from the staff of Stanford Hall of Famer John Whitlinger and Stanford /USPTA Pro Tom Sarsfield. Students provide own rackets. Junior Novice Tennis Age 10-14: For beginning to low intermediate players, two courts grouped by ability. Develop the essential techniques with emphasis on control, depth, and direction on the "78 ft. court" with regulation tennis balls. Lessons will also incorporate rules, etiquette, and basic doubles play. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Students provide own rackets. High School & Junior College Evaluation Camp - Roadrunner Baseball Field
Evaluation Camp: Check in 8:00 - 9:00 AM. Camp Hours will be 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. We will take a 30 min lunch break around 12:30 PM. The morning will consist of a pro-style workout that will assess running, throwing, and fielding tools. The afternoon will consist of Batting Practice and pitchers throwing to hitters in a game format. Each player will receive a written evaluation of their skills from a UTSA Staff Member at the conclusion of camp. 210-458-4811

Summer Daze Outdoor Adventure Camp - LIFE Community Center
Giant City, Pomona Natural Bridge and Cave-in-Rock are just some of the places we will visit during this week. We will also sneak in a trip to the Chocolate Factory and Dixon Springs State Park. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Make sure your child (grade 1-6) is a part of this awesome summer. Guided by our American Red Cross Certified Staff, this summer promises to be one adventure after the other. Campers should bring a swimsuit and towel, sunscreen and bug spray, a water bottle and lunch everyday. Afternoon snack will be provided. Children should wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes that they can wear while running and hiking. Camp will run from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Before and after care is available for an additional fee. A weekly newsletter will give parents and campers an idea of what to expect each week. Join us for a summer of adventure, friendship and fun! Summer Camp - Week #8 Olympic Week Welcome to the Olympics! We will separate campers into different teams at the beginning of the week. It will be up to them to create a new nation and flag to compete in this weeks Olympic Games. Throughout the week they will compete against each other to take home the gold. Our field trip will be to the St. Clair bowling alley. At the end of the week we will have a fantastic food Friday! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are paying a deposit of $20 to reserve your week, the remainder of the payment will automatically set to be deducted from your credit card the Monday of the week before camp begins.
