Kids' Paint Class uses smaller canvases (8x10) & shorter sessions. Kids' Paint Party are ideal for kids, teens & the whole family! Grab your family and join us for a fun afternoon out!! All proceeds from our paint nights and paintings benefit the therapeutic youth program at our art center. Teen Sewing Camp - Snohomish, WA
Projects designed specifically for teens ages 13-17... learn about sewing, how to read patterns, how to use a sewing machine, different stitch options, etc. We will be making projects during the week (Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm) and then having a "showcase" party on Friday July 31st from 12-2pm to show off what the teens have made. ***Kids will need a sack lunch*** *** Sewing machines are available to rent if you don't have one... a $10 per day rental fee applies and we must know BEFORE the class starts if your child needs to rent a machine***

The cost is $60/week per child aged 3-10 and we will have a pizza party for the kids on the last day. We will provide a light snack and drink during the sessions. It's that time of year again! Time for our most awesome event of the year...Youth Camp!!! This year youth camp will be held beginning Monday, July 18 and will end with a camp BBQ on Friday, July 22nd. ****REGISTRATION**** Registration is $85 before July 1st. After July 1st, registration will be $100. Your registration fee covers meals and activities, please bring extra money for the canteen! **** We are excited to have Bro. Tony Bohrer, the Colorado District Youth President with us this year! He will be speaking in all of our evening services as well as our Friday morning dismissal service. As we get closer there will be both staff and camper registration forms available here in the event as well as information about activities etc. As always, if you have any questions please contact us here at the page and we'll be more than willing to help you out! Monterey Junior Lifeguards 2016 - Monterey State Beach
The Monterey Junior Lifeguard Program is a 4-week educational and recreational summer program for children between the ages of 9 and 16. The kids are exposed to a carefully planned schedule of lectures and field trips, balanced with physical conditioning and ocean recreation activities. This unique aquatic class is taught by professional Ocean Lifeguards and several guest lecturers. There are 2 four-week sessions each summer at Monterey State Beach. Morning: Impossible Search & Rescue Teams in this class have accepted the challenge to be the first responder in circumstances of extreme weather, danger, abandonment and quarantine. These victims need: robots that can climb up ropes to rescue Lego Mini Figure victims, rovers that can drive through and over any obstacle, and so much more. We want to know if your robot can save the day. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance...
