Broadway Camp - Disney Dazzle ( Grades 4 - 6)This exciting camp will feature songs from Disney favorites - Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin Daily vocal, acting and dance lessons will be enhanced by fun theater games and activities. They will also learn how to read a script, mark stage directions, memorize lines, audition and conquer stage fright. Students focus on acting and character development through exercises, techniques, and improvisation Actors will develop a strong understanding of character development, acting techniques and monologues, as well as theatre etiquette. This class is all about being an actor. Emergency Vet - Advanced - Highland Park Presbyterian Church
This camp covers a broad range of topics including an extensive survey of animal anatomy featuring a comprehensive rat dissection, which includes neutering and suturing. Campers will spend a considerable time using the microscope as they study a variety of bacteria and parasite that prey on our favorite pets. This camp is for 10 year olds and older. Campers must have already taken our Camp Emergency Vet first. Sample Topics: Rat neutering, Suturing, using a hypodermic needle, Bacteria and Parasites, Broken Bones, Dissection, Blood Smears and the Microscope. 214-530-5979
Drama Advanced Placement 7:25 PM Monday - New Childrens Theatre of Cincinnati
Prepared to be challenged by the likes of Shakespeare, Mamet and other influential playwrights in our Advanced Drama Class. This class will delve into the techniques used by famous teachers such as Stanislavsky, Chekov and Boal, to truly hone their skills in bringing characters to life on the stage. This will start on September 29th and conclude on November 3rd. Each club will meet 5 times during this period. Clubs are available to students in grades 2 through 6. Clubs will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis and fill up quickly! Once a session is filled it will no longer be available on the web site.
