LATEST CAMPS NEWS: 4th - 9th grades- Tennis Camp for Intermediate Players - Saint Marys School
This camp is a week long session where players are expected to have previous tennis experience. The players will be grouped by skill level and will be given the opportunity to improve their skills in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. The daily schedule will consist of match play, drills, competitive games, individual time with the coaches, footwork training, strategic thinking, and pool time. Players will work on the following: groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, serves, singles and doubles play. Each day Players will learn new techniques and different ways to approach their opponent in a match. Players will be faced with constant challenges in a way that will only increase their passion for tennis. This camp will help further develop the players skills, giving them the confidence to continue playing tennis. Hannah Jones, a member of the Saint Marys School class of 2016, will be leading this summers Tennis Academy. She has been playing tennis since she was a young girl and has a passion for this sport. Hannah has been on the SMS Varsity tennis team for three years and is also involved with many extracurricular activities in and outside of school. I love this camp for my kids because they were able to go and have a great time while staying safe, but the best part is that they get to come home at night and tell us all about their adventurous day. I love hearing about the laughs and the good times and hearing how awesome the staff is. We really couldn't ask for a better day camp for our kids. Work Weekend - Holcombe, WI
Always work to do to get the camp ready for the campers. Two roofs will have steel installed on them, cleaning of the chapel and some of the cabins, yard work. We will also be switching the shop and the game room so lots of hands will be needed there. At least 9 holes of miniaturegolf will be moved to the area around the garage (soon to be game room). Food will be provided. Let us know if you will be staying overnight so some cabins will be cleaned and ready. For those staying over Saturday night there will be a chapel service on Sunday morning. Lots of hands make light work so join us for a weekend of working, fishing, fellowshipping and enjoying God’s great outdoors.

The Charleston Baseball Academy Winter Youth Camp will be held Saturday, December 3 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Charleston Baseball Academy at Dennis Park. ages 8u-14U This camp will be instructed by the CBA Staff which includes former college coach Jason Murray, Stan Kowalski, Sean Leyland, Donavan Campbell, Scott Sandman along with special guest James Reeves, LHP with the New York Yankees Organization.
