Science of Spirituality, Minnesota, is happy to announce Youth Angels Day Camp 2016 for children and adults. Youth Angel Day Camp is a one day Wintertime indoor Meditation Camp. It is open to children of ages between 5 and 15 and their families. All adults are welcome to join the adult workshop. We are working with the local law enforcement community to have officers, equipment and K9's available for demonstration. Children will be shooting .22 and 9mm pistols as well as .22 rifles. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be an animal keeper? If yes, then youve come to the right place. Not only has some of our staff worked in some great zoos and aquariums but we have a great collection of our own! This camp was designed for students that want to find out what it is like to work with animals. Maybe you could be a dolphin trainer or animal trainer, or even a vet? It a lot of fun working with animals but you will also be introduced to the non –glamorous things you do as a zoo keeper. Thats right- the yucky stuff- Clean poop! We wont make you clean it- but you can get to make, inspect and eat your own edible chocolate poop for a snack to give you energy to prepare to pass the physical tests: shoveling hay, carrying heavy buckets of food? Session 1H - Voyagers - Camp Butano Creek
This is a two-session program: spend the first session experiencing intensive training activities with your peers. This session includes: discovering your leadership potential; enhancing your skills in group dynamics and communication; understanding the delivery of camp programs and operations; and traditional camp activities including a special outing. Voyagers go home on July 16th to rest up and return on either July 21st (2nd session) or August 4th (3rd session) as an Apprentice Counselor, joining our camp staff during pre-camp for final camp training and preparations. In your assigned unit, put your new knowledge and skills to work as an Apprentice Counselor. Voyager registration is not complete until the following has been completed and returned: camper registration; Voyager application and questionnaire; and three references. Final placement is subject to evaluation by Voyager staff. Spaces are LIMITED, sign up early! Preference will be given to Voyagers entering 12th grade. If there are openings after March 1, those entering 11th grade will be considered.
