NSC - Week 2 - DIAMOND SPORTS Week - Blaine - National Sports Center
AKA Diamond Sports week features daily instruction, plenty of hitting and fielding, games, including our coveted World Series Event, as well as a trip to see the Twins! Our staff is made of several high school and college baseball and softball players who are great at teaching their sport and who make Diamond Sports Week extremely fun. Featured Fieldtrip - Thursday, June 23 - Minnesota Twins vs. Philadelphia Phillies (first pitch 12:05pm) FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. Learn the ancient art of clowning around. In this silly week of camp, we pull out all the stops to put on a comedy show- with all the cues provided by the audience. We still use props and costumes, but we make the show up on the spot. 401-490-9475

Discover Scuba - CV High School Pool
Supervisor: West Shore Scuba. Students will learn how to correctly put on and adjust their equipment, control their breathing and get accustomed to being underwater and using scuba equipment. They will put their new found skills to use while performing Aqua Missions underwater. In addition to their water time, the students will continue their learning out of the pool and discuss marine biology. The only items that you will need to bring with you are a bathing suit, a towel and a release form. This camp is conducted by West Shore Scuba, a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) dive center. They use instructional procedures and certifying standards established and maintained by PADI. 717-506-3383

Sewing camp is a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill that will last a lifetime! In this sewing camp, your child will learn a variety of hand-machine-sewing skills. They will learn to comfortably use the sewing machine and practice basic sewing stitches. We will make projects such as pillows, iPod holders, tote bags, aprons, draw string bags, book covers, water bottle holders and more. As a final project, campers will learn the art of quilting. We will provide all the colorful, beautiful fabrics, and the materials. On Friday, the campers will prepare snacks and lunch as part of their camp experience.
