Camp Chemistry Morning - Newtons Attic
Camp Chemistry can be taken as a full day class or half-day, either morning or afternoon. To register for the full day, please register for both half-days. Morning and afternoon experiments will not be repeated, so students will have new material in each session. Glowing water, blue and red flames, and mountains of oozing foam are everyday occurrences in Camp Chemistry at Newtons Attic. This camp will expose students to the fun and sometimes bizarre world of chemistry, chemical reactions and exciting things that can be made with the right mixture of knowledge, chemicals and materials. In addition to playing with (safe) chemicals, students will work in the shop to fabricate various items, such as test tube holders and similar gadgets that will aid in their exploration of the world of chemistry. Everyone gets to keep everything they make or do at Newtons Attic so that the fun and learning can continue long after camp is over. So, lets all put on our safety glasses, lab aprons and rubber gloves and see what strange potions we can concoct. 859-368-7334

Introduction to Discovery Camp: The Wild World Introduction to Discovery Camp is a shorter, scaled-down version of a traditional week-long Discovery Camp session. This allows children to build confidence and independence while developing an appreciation of the natural world through science education, exploration, and the traditional fun of summer camp. Note: This session is a 4-day introduction camp (Tuesday-Friday) and does not feature adventure days or wilderness camping, but weather permitting there will be a challenge hike and an on-site camping experience. 23rd annual Boys and Girls Grade 5-11 basketball camp traditional style with day, extended or overnighth options Camp begins on Sunday with check-in and registration from 12-1. Camp starts for all campers at 1:15. Day Campers should be at the camp on Sunday from 12-5. Monday - Thursday from 8-5. Camp ends for all campers on Thursday at 4:15 pm. The Specialty Basketball Camp was created in response to the need for a more disciplined learning program in the New England area. This camp is an intense session of teaching and practicing the game of basketball. Our camp emphasizes skills, preparation, and traditional aspects with our Positive Teaching Style. Experienced instructors will build on each players foundation of knowledge and skill and introduce our Advanced Techniques to play the game.
