With day trips, crafts, songs and nature hikes, we will make connections between our local ecosystems of today and those of prehistoric times, including the animals, dinosaurs and plants that lived back then. Teen Horse Day Camp - Stewart, TN
Legend Acres summer camp sessions give horse loving boys and girls the opportunity to spend plenty of time with these wonderful animals. Campers are divided into groups, based on their ability, to provide riders with activities appropriate to their skill levels. In addition, campers take part in the daily grooming, tacking up and care of the horse or pony assigned to them. Campers also participate in activities that promote good horsemanship as well as arts and crafts , snacks and lunch included. We offer three summer camp programs, based on age. The first program is our Kiddie Camp, which is a wonderful experience for children ages 4-7. The camp runs for three consecutive days from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and is $375.00 for the week. Youth Camp, for ages 8 -11 runs for three consecutive days from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm and is $375.00 per week. We look forward to seeing you at camp!! 2016 - Camp 4 Kids CIT Try-Outs - Orange, CA
The heartbeat of Camp4Kids is our volunteer staff. After all, without a great staff, who would bring the magic of summer camp to the kids and teens who need it most? Great Counselors aren't just born, they're carefully trained! Our Counselor-in-Training program (CIT for short) is the venue through which we teach teens the skills and expertise necessary to care for campers. CITs must be a minimum of 16-years-old at the time of camp. Though previous camp experience is not required, it certainly helps. After extensive training "down the hill" (outside of camp), CITs are paired with Senior Counselors while in camp, receiving first hand experience and one-on-one training, learning what it takes to be an effective leader while in a supervised and controlled environment. Resident High Performance Camp (Housing Included) - Stanford
Open to any and all male entrants aged 9-18 years, this camp is designed primarily for competitive gymnasts, levels 6 through 10. Athletes choosing the Resident option will get the full Stanford experience, staying in the student dormitories and eating in the dining commons. Gymnasts will be grouped by age and competitive experience. This is a unique camp, as it is intended for highly motivated and college bound gymnasts. The High Performance Camp is gymnastics focused with 6-7 hours of training per day. Coached by members of the Stanford Mens Gymnastics Team as well as the Stanford Coaching staff, this camp offers gymnasts the opportunity to raise their skills to the next level. During camp, gymnasts will be coached and taught each aspect of training at the highest level. This includes technical coaching on all events, air-sense, execution/presentation, strength and flexibility. Additionally they will be provided insight on the cycling process (assuring peak performance at a specific time), the NCAA Mens Gymnastics program, Stanfords Mens Gymnastics program and being eligible for a collegiate program.
