Back in 1962, most men went to the Catskill Mountains to escape the summer heat, but others took the two-hour drive to escape something else entirely: being men. 2016 - Camp 4 Kids CIT Try-Outs - Orange, CA
The heartbeat of Camp4Kids is our volunteer staff. After all, without a great staff, who would bring the magic of summer camp to the kids and teens who need it most? Great Counselors aren't just born, they're carefully trained! Our Counselor-in-Training program (CIT for short) is the venue through which we teach teens the skills and expertise necessary to care for campers. CITs must be a minimum of 16-years-old at the time of camp. Though previous camp experience is not required, it certainly helps. After extensive training "down the hill" (outside of camp), CITs are paired with Senior Counselors while in camp, receiving first hand experience and one-on-one training, learning what it takes to be an effective leader while in a supervised and controlled environment. Being a great Counselor comes from years of training as a CIT. Come down and try out! RSVP through private message.

ART CAMP Aug. 15-18 - All Things Art Studio
Art camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! Its fun, and kids get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. In the morning they will be working on themed projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. Its a great week for kids, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Flag Football is the perfect introduction to ?America?s Game.? Campers learn skills on both sides of the football including the core components of passing, catching, and defense ? all presented in a fun and positive environment. Lacrosse: Langtry Spring Break Beginners Camp - Parker Fieldhouse
This camp offers a first look at lacrosse for players who want to learn more or who have only basic knowledge of the sport. If focuses on basic skills like scooping, cradling, catching, throwing and shooting. Since there will be limited player-to-player contact, full gear is recommended but not required.
