I sent I child here last summer and she had a horrible summer! She told me horrible things! When I called the place the complain, the phone was not even working. They have the worst customer service ever. My daughter said they were also hungry and was never fed enough. She was bullied at the camp and said no adult did anything about it. The Duluth Youth Sports Camp is a day camp for young athletes entering grades 2-7 (Fall 2016) who want to develop their skills in several sports and build their personal character. Campers will choose two sports to train in for the duration of camp and will be divided into groups for age appropriate training. Soccer Camp - Skills N Thrills - Jack Jackter Intermediate School
Soccer stars learn to enhance technical skills, build new skills, and learn basic tactics including attacking and defending. Over the week, players will be self assessed using standardized National Soccer Tests focusing on the technical aspects of the game, along with the UK Quiz, and World Cup Competition. Each child receives a t-shirt and certificate at the end of the week! Instructed by UK Socca -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JJIS Soccer Field. Please bring adequate water for each participant, apply sunscreen/sunblock daily. Please wear appropriate clothing. Cleats are fine for outside, however please also bring sneakers for indoor use (gymnasium) as well. Rain location is JJIS Gym. Weekly theme: Dance and Movement - experiencing the joy of Latin rhythms and diversity. Children will explore the Spanish language and culture through theme-based activities such as art, music, nature, dance, and more! This camp is perfect for kids without knowledge of Spanish, as well as for the advanced. Children will work in groups matching their level of Spanish. Enlisting your child into activities they love will make them strive to build and expand vocabulary and language structure naturally. Please bring a snack and water. A $25 material fee is payable to the instructor on the first day of camp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs March 2 (6 am) through March 8. TECH IT OUT- Robotics I-Stories or Interactive Stories is a hands-on minds on learning experience that enhances students reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through project-based learning and STEM Literacy. STEM literacy relates to a students ability to understand and apply concepts from science, technology, engineering and mathematics in order to solve complex problems. Campers will use LEGO WeDo to constructing their own stories with over 20 main characters models featuring working motors and sensors to choose from; code their models; and explore a series of cross-curricular, theme-based activities that develop their literacy skills of reading, writing, designing, speaking and listening. TECH IT OUT- I-Stories culminated in a high tech share fair where students set up a display of their models and present their computer animated interactive stories to their learning community and families. 8322080445.0
