Educators around the world are discovering that Minecraft provides infinite possibilities to engage and educate kids of all ages. In this camp, you will learn about creativity and educational side of Minecraft. You will work on projects with your team, as well as individually. You will learn building skills and how to create plan for your project before executing the project. Farm Hands 2nd & 3rd Grade (AM Session) - Weir River Farm
Farm Hands Camp is one of our most popular programs all year and we know why. Whether it is mucking out the stalls, collecting eggs, working in the garden or learning how to halter a sheep, there is never a dull moment on the farm! Although activities can vary depending on the day and age of the participants, we always try to instill the message that we are responsible for our own health, the health of our animals and for the care of this special place. Each day your child can expect to participate in chores in both the barnyard and garden. Of course, no Farm Hands experience would be complete without making new friends, games and nibbling fresh veggies fresh from the garden. We offer two types of programs. First, we have age specific programs. These sessions are a good fit for children that have attended camp year in and year out and like to have different age appropriate themes that build each year. They are also a great opportunity for children to meet other campers that are the same age and may be in school or other community programs with them. Camp Chickababa Week 1 - Springbrook Recreation Center
for Disabled Persons Ages 6 Years & Older This camp includes fun and therapeutic activities such as arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor games, music, swimming, ability appropriate field trips and more. Space is limited per week. Registration accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with 2015 campers given first priority until May 15. AAC Winter Camp 2016 - Wintergreen Mountain Resort
Adventure Amputee Camp is very excited to be holding the second annual ski and snowboard winter camp! We will host campers at Wintergreen Resort located in Wintergreen, VA (near Richmond and Charlottesville, Va) with Wintergreen Adapted Sports. Apply now to participate in skiing/snowboarding, tubing, swimming, ice skating and more! Camp will be held January 23-26, 2016. Please note that AAC will NOT be providing transportation to and from Wintergreen Resort. It is the responsibility of each family represented to make transportation arrangements. Stamford Lacrosse Camp Week 2 & PM All Sports Camp - Westhill High School
For Boys ages 6-12 years old. Players of all abilities are welcome to join us for a fun instructional camp of lax drills, skill competitions, contests and games! Players will be divided up into two main groups by age and will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game. Players will be coached by former high school coaches, college and high school players and each group in the camp will be supervised by an adult coach. Players must bring their own equipment. Full equipment required: helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, mouth guard and a stick. Bring a peanut free snack and refillable water bottle.
