We all know that the YMCA has been around for years. But instead of a outdated program, the summer day camp was fun and fresh. Between the swimming, the sports and the crafts our kids were certainly kept busy. Not once did we hear, "I'm bored!" That's a huge change of pace for them. We will be attending Summer Camp at The Calvary Chapel Christian Camp in Green Valley California. You must be 8th grade going into 9th grade through graduating Seniors to attend this camp. Theme for camp this year is: Philippians 3:3 “For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.” We will explore 3 questions throughout the week. Nike Co-ed Tennis Camp 1 - Butler Campus
Ages: Girls and Boys Ages 6 - 18 Dates: June 14 – 17; July 25 – 28 Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Format: Two, one-week sessions Week 1: Tuesday – Friday Location: Laurels Butler Campus in Russell Township Tuition: $435/session Nike Tennis Camps is thrilled to offer its second annual tennis camp at Laurel. This junior tennis camp is directed by Frank Polito, Associate Head Tennis Coach at Cleveland State University. The Laurel School Nike Tennis Camp offers the ultimate combination of athletics and fun! All aspects of the game will be taught as campers are evaluated by the staff so that individual instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. Lil Lambs camp is a great opportunity for Pre-K through Kindergarten kids to experience Camp of the Good Shepherd for the first time. Age-appropriate Bible lessons, songs, games, and crafts are just a few of the things that children will enjoy on their first visit to camp. Parents are welcome to stay for the day or may chose to drop their child off with our fantastic camp staff. Designed for middle and older teens, Extreme Sports Camp is packed full of classic amp experiences which include opportunities to learn sailing, water skiing, canoeing kayaking, four wheeling, archery, riflery, barrel racing, paint-balling, and swimming. Football Camp K - 5th - SCDS
This football camp starts our young players with a love for the game and correct instruction to play the game. Young boys love to run and jump and play. Many of them also love to roll around and tussle. If you have such a boy, we would like to help him channel these natural inclinations into a love of the game of football, and to guide him in learning the fundamentals of how to run, throw, catch, kick, block, and tackle. Staffed by SCDS coaches and players the camp will guide youngsters toward an understanding of the basics. Campers will gain an understanding of football rules, terminology, and basic strategy. Each day will include individual instruction as well as competitive flag football games. Athletes of all experience levels are welcome and no equipment is required other than cleats/sneakers, athletic clothes and a willingness to play hard and have fun.
