I.G.N.I.T.E Youth Camp Retreat - Trevor, WI
Our goal is to refresh your children spiritually as well as socially before returning back to school. This will be a great opportunity for all of us to get connected and stay connected for years to come. Promised Land Ministries is a Christian based organization that holds retreats for an array of different ministries including youth. We have joined together with them to create an eventful, fun-filled experience for August. Our days will be packed with loads of fun outdoor activities, balanced out with daily devotions and small group breakout sessions. We will be camping in tents so please be aware. This retreat is for members only between the ages of 12-18. Camp Carlyle: Session III - Carlyle House Historic Park
Camp Carlyle at Carlyle House Historic Park, in Old Town Alexandria, encourages children to explore history through challenging, engaging, and fun activities. We highly value and encourage inclusion of all campers in all activities. Campers will have the opportunity to learn about 18th century games, clothing, schooling, culinary techniques, trade and money, and city life. Campers will also have opportunities to take offsite field trips to other historic sites in Old Town Alexandria that include the George Washington Masonic Memorial, Alexandria Archaeology Museum, Gadsbys Tavern Museum and the Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum. Amplify Sleep Away Camp Session 1 - Ojai Valley High School
WHAT IS Amplify Sleep Away Rock Camp? Amplify Sleep Away Rock Camp is an intensive one-week overnight program offered to girls ages 10-17 years old and is held at Ojai Valley Boarding School in Ojai, CA. Here girls of all skill levels have the opportunity to learn guitar, bass, drums, vocals, keys or other instruments. Girls will also form a band, write an original song, and perform at the Final Showcase for friends, families, and fans! In addition to all this, girls will have the opportunity to meet other girls and female musicians and mentors, as well as participate in enrichment activities such as workshops on media literacy or screen-printing, high ropes course, Dj-skills, Zine making and more. GRSB! welcomes campers that identify as female, trans, and gender-nonconforming. LESSONS Participants choose one instrument to focus on for the week–drums, bass, guitar, vocals, keyboards, or DJ. Robotics Camps - Avery Street Annex
Students will learn how to program a robot to navigate through maze challenges, detect obstacles and even get the opportunity to duel other robot teams in a mini sump competition. By the end of the camp students will show off their learned robotics skills, experience STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) first hand and take their robot home to continue their exploration of its many capabilities.
