Come join Miss K. in exploring some math tricks with a magical flare! We will be investigating specific magic tricks and the math behind them. We will also realize why some math problems always lead to the same answers, how math plays a role in everyday situations, and why are numbers universal. Bill DiNardo will be the head coach for our Football program. Bill is the head varsity football coach at Salesianum School and will run our quarter-backs and receivers Camp. Bill has won multiple state championships for both Middletown and Salesianum schools. Coach Bill is also the Dean of Students at Salesianum. ---------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. ---------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp. Put me in coach...Im ready to play! This camp will focus on baseball fundamentals and techniques from hitting, fielding and throwing to pitching, base running and more. Campers will participate in daily drills, scrimmages, stations and contests to develop big league skills. Camp will be conducted rain or shine. Parents will be provided with information on how to handle rain days on the first day of camp. Supplies: Campers should bring their own bat and glove, and a packed lunch with a beverage and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend campers use sunscreen with a SPF of at least 30. The Kidn Me camps are designed for children from age 5 -18 and a parent or caregiver. This class will cover the basics of simple bead stringing. You will learn to make earrings using wire head pins, beads and pre-made earring hooks. You will design a simple bracelet and learn to finish it with crimp beads and a clasp. Simple necklace styles will be presented and you will design and finish one with your choice of clasp!
