(2016 SOP SCHEDULE BELOW) AKASPORTs Speed of Play: Leadership through Fitness Program, is led by AKA Director, Chris Schulz and the AKA professional training Staff. Participants enrolled in the AKA Speed of Play (SOP program), in partnership with the AKA All Sports Camp (ages 6-12), will offer adolescents an opportunity to be active, train and play in an All Sports setting geared to teach them leadership qualities with personal mentorship opportunities. The base of the Speed of Play program is from 9:00am-4:00pm and the doors are open for all Speed of Play participants from 7:00am-6:00pm, the same hours of the AKA All Sports Camp so you can take advantage of supervised activity time the entire day. In a nutshell: You will have the opportunity to select a minimum of 8 weeks (out of 12) for the 2016 Summer SOP program. 8 Week - Full Summer Speed of Play Program = $1,230 $165/week includes Field Trip each week ($1,320) 2 Field Trips are comped free of charge (-$90) (Individual week rate = $165) (Individual week rate with NO Field Trip = $120) If participants decide they do not want to attend a particular Field Trip, we will simply deduct and credit... 651-447-2454

Rainforest Adventure Camp - NEW! Your child has the chance to embark on a "Rainforest Adventure" this summer. Campers combine art and engineering skills to conceive and construct the four layers of the rainforest. Walking the "camouflage trail" campers learn the importance of animal adaptation and what can be done to help protect our fragile ecosystems. Ahhh, Spring! It will be here before we know it, and Deep Roots Community Farm and Inspired are excited to offer another great Grow La Crosse Farm/Art Camp! Join us for an afternoon of fun and education on the farm! We will care for the farm animals, learn about the biology of the natural world on a farm, make art projects, and enjoy free time in our beautiful rural setting. In this session, additional focus will be given to planting seeds in the garden and in take home pots, as well as horse care (grooming and feeding) and ART! All programming is led by Ana Skemp, M.S. Ecology, owner of Deep Roots Community Farm and Jeni Blake, artist and owner of Inspired. 9:1 staff to child ratio. Children will be asked to bring their own healthy snack.
