Pre-K Summer Fun Camp - Session I (Ages 4-5) Full morning of interaction for social, cognitive, and physical growth in a fun, nurturing environment. Players will rotate from station to station as they learn valuable techniques and fundamentals from the Lakeside High School Football Coaching Staff. Triple Threat Musical Theater (July 5) - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
Acting, singing, and dancing are all aspects of musical theatre, master them all, and you become a triple threat. This camp will help build these talents through the firsthand experience of performing in a musical. This firsthand experience will provide campers with the knowledge they need to participate in a theatrical production at their school or in the community and allow your child to get ahead of their performing peers. Adventure Sailing M,W,F ($215 for 1 week, Members) - Nantucket Yacht Club
Please select a minimum of one week. The class, which meets 3 days a week, will have a distinct goal for each day: Long Sail Day - try to sail as far as possible from the club using wind direction, current/tide forecast, and navigational aides. During the following class the student will chart their course on a chart in the Sail Room with pins and yarn, and we can compare progress week to week. Star Chart Day - Students identify skills from the star chart they want to achieve (Anchoring, knots, upwind sailing, etc), and finally Catamaran Day! Students may take this course for a maximum of 4 weeks, and class may not be held if less than 2 children are signed up. The goal of Adventure Sailing is to accumulate the skills for the student to check out a Rhodes 19 on their own. (Note: Adventure Sailing will not be held during Race Week.) 508-228-1400

This trip is reserved only for our senior high campers. The joy of skimming across Adirondack Lakes in kayaks is one to be remembered for a lifetime. Your route will take you north from Long Lake through the Adirondacks most wild and beautiful canoe area. Your group will travel along the Raquette River, into Stony Creek Ponds, and finally into Upper Saranac where a special Island waits for our campers alone. Paddling lakes and rivers, cooking under the stars, and enjoying the company of new and old friends will have you wishing that the trip were longer. 518-631-6789
Saturday Discovery with Nelli Shevelkina (Ages 6-11) - Young People
Skills in the visual arts are built in the same way as learning to play a musical instrument or sport: by practicing and training, and by challenging you with new techniques and ideas. In Drawing and Discovery, young artists ages 6-11 will explore fundamental concepts of line, texture, shading, and color through the fun, creative, and age-appropriate projects. Students will try their hand at figure drawing, portraits, volume and perspective, and experiment with professional art materials. Students will work independently or as a group according to their age, level of experience, personal interest and individual artistic style. Note: This class will be offered continuously during the year, allowing students to progressively develop skills in visual literacy, perception and creativity progressively.
