Botetourt County and The Golf Academy at Ashley have joined forces to offer summer Junior Golf Camps. From the registraiton fees of $165.00 ($50 deposit, $115.00 payable at camp), each child will receive: 12 hours of professional group instruction by Jeff Sprinkel , Ashley Plantation logo shirt, use of range balls, entry fee and green fee for tournament, daily prizes and tournament prizes, free camp group picture, video instruction, PGA Junior Golf Foundation Membership Card, Rules of Golf booklet, PGA Junior Golf Foundation Certificate, reduced green fees outside camp sessions, free awards cookout on Friday and a full agenda of golfing activities. This camp is limited, so call now to reserve your spot. I sent my teenager to the Taft Summer School in Watertown, CT this past summer and I am so glad I did! She was able to get intensive learning in a school environment, but it wasn't school. LUNCH: Students must bring their own bag lunches and drinks each day. No class July 4. This course is for students wishing to enrich their math skills before entering 9th grade. Students focus on the standard topics of first-year algebra, emphasizing the fundamental ideas of the subject. Topics may include solving and graphing linear equations and functions, quadratic equations and functions, solving and graphing inequalities, systems of equations, factoring expressions, absolute value and exponential and radical expressions and equations. Enjoy four days of fast-paced training in the worlds most popular sport, soccer. Join BYU womens soccer head coach Jennifer Rockwood and BYU mens soccer head coach Chris Watkins for an exciting experience to refine your soccer skills while increasing your technical and tactical knowledge of the game. Participate in demanding training sessions, small-sided games and plenty of team scrimmages. BYU soccer camps are available for all levels of soccer players, from those just beginning competition to those who have had a high level of experience (premier club level and ODP). Many campers also attend to showcase their abilities in the hopes of someday earning a spot on a BYU soccer team roster. Camps not only will help you improve your overall knowledge of the game, but also will prove to be a valuable scouting and recruiting tool for the head coaches. All four weeks of camp are structured identically, where participants are grouped together by age, ability and gender.
