Tremper Cheerleaders are holding their Basketball Cheer Kid's Clinic on Saturday, Feb. 4th from 9:00 am to Noon at Tremper High School. Girls will play games, learn cheers, jumps and a short dance. Cost is $30.00 which includes a t-shirt to wear on the performance day which is Tuesday, Feb. 7th @ 5:30. Girls should arrive at Tremper at 4:30 to run through things. The girls will do sidelines for the 1st half of the JV Basketball game with the Tremper Cheerleaders and then perform at 1/2 time with them as well. After halftime, they are free to leave. With a pro youll learn basic 2D scrolling-style game development techniques, moving into the Blender Game Engine to learn a modern 3D environment and to start using current game programming theory & procedures. Youll develop a concept & design it into your own game using open-source tools and industry standards. Youll test out each others games for accuracy and degree of fun to play! Kids Summer Camp week 1 - Spirit of the Horse Stables
Spring horse camps great for kids to build character and increase their knowledge of horses while having a great time and making friends. Our groups are small in order to provide more one on one teaching. All campers will enjoy learning to tack their horse, riding, grooming, bathing and caring for their horse. We will have daily arts & crafts that they can take home. Campers will also enjoy additional fun activities, and be able spend more time with the horses. All campers will have activities tailored toward their age & experiences. For girls and boys ages 5 - 18 years old. Beginner- Advanced riders welcome. The Wallis is pleased to offer an opportunity for youth ages 12-18 to become a Student Arts Reporter. This program is designed for students interested in the arts and journalism or critical writing. The Wallis is proud to partner with the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle and other local media partners to help mentor students to view productions with a critical eye and write reviews for selected Wallis performances throughout the season. The NDP tennis camp will introduce the sport to newcomers, and provide further instruction to those who are experienced and want to compete at the high school level. The main goal of this camp is to help players improve their skills while learning tennis etiquette and good sportsmanship. The drills and exercises taught by current NDP coaches and players are both fun and useful for tennis and other sports. What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, tennis shoes and socks, tennis racquet, towel and water bottle. (Rain day June 17). Please note our new cancellation policy.
