2016 - Camp 4 Kids CIT Try-Outs - Orange, CA
The heartbeat of Camp4Kids is our volunteer staff. After all, without a great staff, who would bring the magic of summer camp to the kids and teens who need it most? Great Counselors aren't just born, they're carefully trained! Our Counselor-in-Training program (CIT for short) is the venue through which we teach teens the skills and expertise necessary to care for campers. CITs must be a minimum of 16-years-old at the time of camp. Though previous camp experience is not required, it certainly helps. After extensive training "down the hill" (outside of camp), CITs are paired with Senior Counselors while in camp, receiving first hand experience and one-on-one training, learning what it takes to be an effective leader while in a supervised and controlled environment. Being a great Counselor comes from years of training as a CIT. Come down and try out! RSVP through private message.

Teen Driving Boot Camp in East Rutherford - East Rutherford, NJ

Come join us for Youth Color Guard Camp in February! Grades 3-5. Register by January 15th to make sure you can recieve a t-shirt. We will practice Monday, February 8th and Tuesday, February 9th from 6pm until 7pm in the High School Band Room. Golf: Junior Half Day Summer Camp 7/11 - Offsite Location
Junior Half Day Golf Camp will teach the fundamentals of golf, the full swing, chipping, putting, rules and etiquette in a fun and creative learning environment. All golf lessons are held at Camarillo Springs Golf Course, located at 791 Camarillo Springs Road. If needed, golf clubs and balls can be provided to those who do not have their own. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bring your receipt to the first class and arrive 5-10 minutes early. See instructor and sign waiver form at first class. If your class if outdoors, please dress for warm/cool weather and bring a water bottle. Class Refunds - If withdrawal/transfer from a program/class is made 5 business days prior to the start of a class there will be a full refund less a $10 administrative fee. If withdrawal is made less than 5 business days before the first day of the program, there will be no refund issued. Registrants failing to be present for the program will forfeit all fees paid. No refund will be issued for programs and activities where the registration cost is $10 or less. All refunds/transfers are subject to approval. THURS : PreK & Kindergarten Program - The Story of King Midas - The Philadelphia School
Join us for a fun-filled day experiencing an interactive storytelling adventure about the myth of King Midas! Each student will decorate a golden mask and participate in recreating the story. Students will also learn about Turkey and the cultural traditions of the land where King Midas once ruled. We will also explore the rich and colorful patterns of Turkish tiles, and each student will design and decorate their own tile to take home. A mid-morning snack will be served. Choice indoor and outdoor activities will be offered, as well as a walk to Taney Park, weather permitting. Please pack a lunch (including a beverage) in a disposable bag. For the safety of our students, please DO NOT INCLUDE PEANUT BUTTER or any nuts in your childs lunch.
