Pitch, hit, run! This camp is perfect for young players looking to improve their baseball skills. Camp will start at Jones Park for some on-the-field training and end at the Savoy Recreation Center, where we will cool off with some indoor training. T-shirts are included. Engineering Fun is an excellent hands on activity based STEM curriculum. Students learn basic concepts about Energy, Light, Motion and more. This class does not use games to engage kids in engineering/science concepts. Students learn thinking and reasoning skills needed for success. Engineering Fun engages children to apply what they know about science and math through hands on activities are based on real-world technologies and problems, they help children see how disciplines like math and science are relevant to their life. Your child will look forward to each days challenge and excitement and build a summer full of special camp memories! This traditional day camp experience will include swim lessons and free swim time, weekly activity themes, camp craft skills, nature study, sports & games, arts and crafts and special events. There is an Open House on Friday, June 24 from 3-5:30pm at Greenwood Childrens Center and Greenwood Park.
