Winter Wonderland Kid's Camp - Plantation, FL
Winter Wonderland Kid’s Camp Ages 5 - 11 A fun-filled 8 day holiday camp. Planned activities include a field trip, special guest, arts & crafts, supervised games and much more. Children should bring a non-perishable lunch and drink. Extra drinks available for purchase. Plantation Central Park 9151 NW 2nd Street December 27, 28, 29, 30 & January 3, 4, 5, 6 Camp will be closed on December 26th and January 2nd Program hours: 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Structured activities: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 1 Week - $125/Residents 2 Weeks - $210/Residents 1 Week - $175/Non-Residents 2 Weeks - $260/Non-Residents *Proof of residency is required. Ranger Kid Day Camp - Christmas, FL
RK Day Camp is for Ranger Kids and is a wonderful opportunity to visit unique places with boys of like interest. Check with your Event Coordinator for costs. You will need to bring your own lunch and drinks and we will have lunch on the grounds.

Youth Empowerment Camp - Troy, MO
This annual leadership training camp is a gathering of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, allied, and intersex (LGBTQQAAI) designed and created by youth activists and allies who are dedicated to defeating homophobia and transphobia and creating brave, supportive schools for everyone. Camp is driven by young people. This year we are renting a huge camp at Cuivre River State Park with Cabins, Dinning Hall, Firepit and even a pool located just a little over an hour from St. Louis, MO next to Troy, MO. Youth Curator Camp - Martinsville, VA
Youth Curator Camp Virginia Museum of Natural History Saturday, December 19 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Youth Curator Camp is an opportunity for children ages 6 to 12 to learn about the museum while participating in fun, hands-on activities and programs. Parents and guardians – this is a great opportunity for your children to experience a day of scientific adventure and discovery while you finish up any last-minute holiday shopping! Campers will meet the museum’s scientists and learn about real museum collections. There will be demonstrations of the casting and molding program, with children having the opportunity to create, paint and take home their very own fossil cast! In addition to these unique activities, campers will enjoy pizza and a movie in the museum’s Education Center. Strummin for Fun - Building B Performing Arts Room
Strummin For Fun Ages 7-11 Beginner and intermediate players welcome! Well learn the basics of guitar playing by engaging in fun musical games and creative group activities. Our lessons will include learning to play melody by reading notation and TAB, chords and mini-chords, strumming patterns, song form, improvisation, songwriting and singing, and an exploration of various guitar styles. We may even have a guest artist or two drop by for a visit! Campers will perform a short concert for parents and friends on the last day of camp. Director: Hal Engler 9194932642.0

NIKE Basketball Summer Camp - Fairfax High School
Instructor: Awyee Storey Ages: 8-15yrs Mon ? Friday, Jul 11-15, 9:00am -3:00pm (M-TH); 9:00am-12:00pm (F) Location: Fairfax High School Field House (Gym) Led by former Washington Wizards forward Awvee Storey and his experienced staff, the camp will feature professional instruction for boys and girls, with the instruction designed for the specific skill level of the participants. Coach Storey was a standout collegiate basketball player at Arizona State University, before continuing his playing career professionally in the NBA with the Wizards, New Jersey Nets, and Milwaukee Bucks. Storey also competed professionally internationally in New Zealand and the Philippines. The instruction will focus on the game?s fundamentals, while instilling the importance of commitment, teamwork, character, and sportsmanship helping each camper reach his/her full potential. Have you ever wondered how sharks hear sound, migrate across the ocean, or find prey? Unlock these mysteries as we explore the science behind the largest fishes in the sea! From understanding the importance of this top predators role in balancing the oceans ecosystem, to learning about conservation efforts to save endangered sharks, youll meet shark researchers who are discovering answers to these questions.
