The camp teaches youngsters ages 8-14 survival skills if they are ever lost or in a dangerous situation. They learn simple things such as how to treat a bee sting, to complex issues such as creating an overnight shelter to sleep in. On Friday, February 17th, starting at 5:00 PM and ending at 7:00 PM, Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp (ATLC) will be hosting Stew Night at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club. For $6, you can get a combo of a Main Dish (Tomato Soup, Taco Soup, Chicken Stew, Venison Chili and Beef Stew), roll, drink and a dessert. Baseball Camp A - Warner Park Baseball Complex
The basic design of the CDS Baseball camp is to help young baseball players develop a fundamental baseball skill set and learn tactical elements of the game. The goal of the camp is to equip campers with the skills to compete at a high level of play. The camp will be directed by David Houseton, CDS Varsity Baseball Head Coach at Covenant Day School. He will be assisted by his coaching staff as well as former and returning Covenant Day baseball players. Our theme for The Chapel Schools CARE BEAR this year will be Fairy Tales from Around the World. Young campers will acquire global awareness through literature. Children will enjoy learning about countries and their cultures while making creative arts and crafts projects. We will also have plenty of outdoor time for water play and games. Our In-House Field Trips always bring fun and fascinating visitors to our campus. We will once again have Dinosaurs Rock, Mad Science, Greenburgh Nature Center, and Animal Embassy along with magicians and storytellers to teach and entertain us.
