This program integrates LEGO® with scientific and mathematical principles in a FUN and EXCITING way! Teaching is conducted using customized LEGO® kits with motors, gears and batteries. The programs utilize an Edutainment (Education + Entertainment) approach, transforming the learning process into a game while introducing children to theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Create a Musical Camp - kiddywampus - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
If your child enjoys singing, acting, creating art, inventing songs and stories then this camp is perfect! Together students will create a musical from scratch through an organic, creative and relaxed approach based on their ideas. Camp activities emphasize the process of creating a musical theater production through fun, engaging experiences that lead up to a final performance. Activities include song creation using MacBook recording, scenery creation, and much more! This class combines storytelling and Computer Science. Campers learn the basics of green-screen photography and stop-motion animation as they bring to life the environments and characters that are created in a digital short film! Sign up for the chess program at school. Students will learn chess fundamentals and strategies that enhance learning skills and critical thinking through chess. We will build confidence and have the options to compete against other local school. Novice students and experienced players are encouraged to sign up as we will have two levels. This chess coach has been teaching chess with exuberance for over 20 years. Kids love his creative style and methods to improve at chess. His students have achieved noted success at local, state, and national chess events. Hector is a Class A United State Chess Federation Player. He looks forward to meeting the Saint Davids chess team players and start getting everyone ready for competition! This is a 9-week program beginning on January 7th going through February 25th on Thursdays from 3:00-4:30pm for 1st through 8th grade boys and girls with any experience level. 9197823331 x332

Does your child love to jump, hop, stretch and spin? Dance class promotes teamwork and self-discipline through a variety of props mixed with creative and traditional dance. Students who continue with lessons throughout the school year are eligible to participate in a formal recital at the Times Union Center in May. *Additional fees apply for this event. All students need pink leather ballet shoes, pink tights and a solid color leotard. **This class is being held from 3:20pm to 4:20pm.** Taught by Sherri Mazza 904-256-5071
