Join us at Anders Ruff Workshop in Pineville for our Teen/Tween CAMP (Ages 10+). Create a preppy and charming 15″x20″ customized canvas and wood wall hanging! In this workshop, you will start with bare canvas and leave with a customized canvas wall hanging flanked with wood stretchers in any color combination you choose. Choose from our line of home decor paints in the class. Pick from a monogram silhouette design choice above. This is a drop off workshop for teens and tweens. Teen Camp 9-4pm wk 5 - Frankfort Park District
The Frankfort Park District would like to present Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp program for youth entering 7th ? 9th grade in the fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days, arts & crafts, and a field trip each week that a teen will enjoy. Special guests will be invited to this camp including sports, art and science instructors. Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held at Commissioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Avenue in Frankfort, along with the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commissioners Park. Drop off and pick up will take place at Chelsea Middle School, located at 22265S. 80th Ave. The camp will run from 9 ? 4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a before and after care option. Bring a bag pack, lunch and water bottle each day. Lunch may be included on certain field trip days. Registration must be done in person at our main office located at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street. A copy of your child?s birth certificate will be required at the time of registration. 2016 Leadership Track Program (Ages 15-17) - James Camp @ Mingus Springs
Camp Quest Arizona is a place for fun, friends, and freethought for kids ages 8-17. Our camp provides a traditional sleepaway summer camp experience with a wide range of activities such sports, crafts, games, fishing and campfires*. In addition to our traditional summer camp activities, Camp Quest Arizona offers educational activities focused on critical thinking, ethics, scientific inquiry, philosophy, and comparative religion. Camp Quest Arizona is open to all children and teenagers within the age range, but it is particularly geared towards building a community for children from atheist, agnostic, humanist and other freethinking families. Our goal is to provide a place where children can explore their developing worldviews, ask questions, and make friends in an environment that is supportive of critical thinking and skepticism. Campers aged 8-14 participate in our standard camp program. Campers agent 15-17 participate in the Leadership Track (LT) - a program designed to cultivate leadership skills. Spy Training Camp - Middle School
Learn about forensics. They will spend of week being spies and Crime Scene investigators. Through various tools they will be able to break numerous cases that will be presented throughout the week. They will analyze trace evidence left at the crime scenes in camp. The crimes will include numerous mysterious disappearances. They will spend a week utilizing the science of forensics, chromatography, chemistry, DNA, profiling and fingerprint analysis to unravel these mysteries. They will investigate the crime scene by analyzing trace evidence with a microscope, cast footprint impressions, photograph the crime scenes and design various spy tools to be able to help in the investigation. They will make a periscope, and various forensic Tools that they will use in training to be the very best spy.
