Youth Fun-Damental Basketball Camp - Roscommon, MI
This exciting camp opportunity is for boys and girls entering the 3rd through 8th grade. With four days of fun and learning, using a variety of drills, skills, contests, and games, your athlete will have a chance to be active and leave with the necessary tools to develop their game for their future. Postive social interaction with others their age and with their basket coach will help them in more ways than just basketball skills. Camp is Monday - Thursday, August 22-25, from 10am-3pm and cost is $50. Early drop off and pick up is available for an additional $2 per hour. Maximum registration of $100 per family. Parker Summers Extreme, Session II - Francis W Parker
This program provides campers with both on- and off-campus experiences. For each week-long session campers select one morning activity (see choices). After lunch, there are a variety of gym games, group activities, instructional swim, beach visits and tournament days. Each session includes one Undernight adventure—an extended field trip—on Thursday. Adventures revolve around a weekly theme. Paddling Camp - OFFSITE
This camp will explore the inner harbor of Redwood City, while learning the basics of water safety, kayaking, outrigger paddling, and stand up paddling (SUP). Each day participants and their instructors will paddle to a different destination around the Harbor learning about the conservation and ecology of Redwood City, while having fun paddling. Boating: Basic Sailing Camp - Lake Merritt Boating Center
Piedmont Recreation is proud to partner with the City of Oakland Lake Merritt Boating Center. Piedmont Recreation offers transportation to and from these camps. The Basic Sailing Camp requires a swim evaluation that can be arranged through the Piedmont Community Pool at (510) 655-5163. SWIM EVALUATION IS REQUIRED. This entry level sailing class will definitely give kids a chance to get their "sea legs". The campers start off learning the parts of the sailboat and by weeks end theyll understand wind direction as it relates to propelling, and more importantly, controlling their sailboat. Games and drills on the water help to teach these basic skills. No experience is needed. If your child does not have a swim evaluation verification on file, a swim evaluation will have to be completed before the first day of camp.
