Taught by Villas own Chef Rick, sharpen your culinary chops two ways this summer - each day will include an interactive meal-making session AND a daily in-class competition using one of our featured courses, with the recipe winners selected by your peers. Our Annual CBC Teen Retreat is scheduled. ! We will be staying at Lakeview Camp in Seymour, IN. Cost is $50 per person, which includes everything (food, lodging, travel & activities).

Toddler Boot Camp: 'I'm a Big Kid Now' - Battle Creek, MI
Youngsters and their families will enjoy stories, crafts, songs, and surprises at Toddler Boot Camp. This themed four-week story time is geared to children 1-5 years old to encourage them to transition from the baby stages to a big kid. Stories and songs such as "Bye Bye Binky," " No More Diapers," and "No More Monsters," will be shared to make transitioning for parent and child a fun experience.

Kid's Camp: Quilt 2016 - Laramie, WY
Come join other young quilters and make some new friends. Participants will complete a quilt top in this one day class using a simple pattern. Age 10 and up and must own and know how to operate their own sewing machine. Registration fee is $60 (includes fabric and pattern).

Deep Space Robot Explorers - Goleta Presbyterian Church
During this week, we take campers to the edge of the universe on a variety of missions to make a distant planet habitable for humans. Campers explore the real science behind NASAs plan for Martian colonies and accompanying engineering design activities tied into space exploration. Deep Space Robot Explorers curriculum, Terraformers, has been developed by Carnegie Mellon Universitys Robot Academy. Using MINDSTORMS NXT and Terraformers software, along with videos and animations, campers learn programming, tackle building challenges, and hone their robotic and project planning skills. As an extra bonus, campers construct and launch two of their very own Estes Rockets. Secret Agent - Polygon Mission Grade 3 (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
American University student teachers are looking for enthusiastic third graders who like challenges, mysteries, and problem solving missions. As part of an American University research project, School of Education professors have partnered with Janney Elementary School to test enduring understanding in reading as well as in mathematics in third grade students. During the sessions, third grade students will participate alongside our friends Poly and Gon in enriching activities and games in which they will be challenged to think outside the box by practicing problem solving and pattern identification skills. All lessons, activities, and games will be created and directed by American University student teachers for Janney third graders. Pulse Dance Team - Summer Intensive Camp - Seattle Preparatory School
The Pulse Dance Team Summer Intensive is a training camp for our current members and all Seattle Prep students who are interested in joining the 2016-17 team. The dancers will be learning an array of hip hop styles including high energy and acrobatics, hard hitting isolations, and even lyrical hip hop. Volleyball Camp: Middle School - Piedmont Middle School
This middle school volleyball camp focuses on individual player development and teamwork. attention is given to technique, skill and confidence so each camper improves as a volleyball player and develops a love for the game. All skill levels welcome! Sarah brings an extensive background in indoor and beach volleyball. As a junior in college she played for the Cals Indoor Volleyball team as an outside hitter and defensive specialist. Entering her senior year at UC Berkeley, Cole plans to finish her degree in integrative biology and continue her volleyball career as a current member of the Cals Womens Beach Volleyball Team. She is a AAA rated sand volleyball player and has coached for Presentation High School, City Beach Volleyball Club, Cal Summer Camps, and Piedmont Middle School.
