Youth Ski Trip - Freedom, NH
Youth Ski Trip: for our 7th-12th grade students from Friday February 10th to Sunday February 12th we will be at Camp Calumet in West Ossipee, New Hampshire for a wonderful and blessed weekend of skiing and being in fellowship with one another. Make sure to sign up and get your forms located on the Sunday School Bulletin Board (they will be posted in January 2017). Make sure to come to the Parent & Youth meeting on February 5th before church at 8:30am to go over payments, fill out paperwork and go over the schedule for the Youth Ski Trip. Cost is $130.00 per person this year and if you are in need of rentals or lessons, it will be an additional $20.00 each (they are really $30.00 each, but Northside picks up the other $10.00 per lesson or/and rental for each person). Please make sure to attend our Brunch Fundraiser on February 5th after church to raise funds for travel and for our chaperones. If you are unable to go to the Fundraiser, you will need to pay an additional $25.00.

Please join us at Bootheel Youth Camp on September 26 from 9:00 AM-2:30 PM (lunch will be provided) for BYC’s second annual youth rally. (Registration will start at 8:30 and singing will begin at 9:00 AM.) The speaker this year will be Willie Franklin speaking on "The Power of Courage". We hope that you will join us this year to make this a great success. If you plan to attend please contact us by September 20.

The Solon Recreation Department offers two day camps that run in conjunction with one another. The Summer Camp is for pre-kindergarten to fourth graders (child must be at least 5 years old and no older than 12 on their first day of camp). The Adventure Camp is for current fifth & sixth graders (child must be 12 years old or younger on their first day of camp). Camp consists of sports, swimming, activities, field trips and much, much more. The schedules and activities are age appropriately planned. A tentative calendar for 2016 will be available at the Solon Community Center or on-line after February 16. Need more information…Please look on-line at www.solonohio.org. Camper Handbooks, calendars, registration forms and registration information will all be posted on our website in February 2016. Adventure Camp is back for 2016! This camp is for you if you enjoy activities like mountain biking, rock climbing, canoeing, surfing, volleyball, and miniature golf. We will be headed to the beach every week. Other destinations on the schedule may include the zoo, laser tag, tubing and water parks! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: If cancellation is made prior to April 15, 2016, a full refund, less a $25.00 processing fee, will be made.
