BHT Camp 2016 - First Informational Meeting - Powell, OH
Hi Everyone! It's almost 2016, which means it's finally time to start preparations for this summer's camp! The first informational meeting will be on Saturday, January 9th. There will be a total of two informational meetings (the second on January 31st). If you are applying to be a full time counselor for the first time, you are required to attend at least one of the meetings. Also, keep an eye out on your emails for the counselor application that will be released soon. Can't wait to see all of you on January 9th! DaVinci Kids Full Day (April 1st) - Newtons Attic
If you would like to take this class as a half day option please contact us directly to register. Science, math, engineering, art: Da Vinci was a master of it all. In this class designed exclusively for young developing minds, students get to follow in his footsteps by engaging in a variety of stimulating activities that cut across a wide range of disciplines. Tool use, building and engineering, chemistry and biology, art and design, spontaneous improvisation, and healthy dose of brain and body play are all mixed together to form this experience. Each activity will last anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes as students move from one subject to the next while making new discoveries about the diverse world around them. Who knows - with this wide range of topics, your child just may discover something of interest that he or she never even imagined. 859-368-7334
Volleyball Camp Ages 7 - 12 - Centennial Middle School
Skyhawks Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it together into one fun-filled camp. All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. This co-ed program is designed for the beginning and intermediate player. Our volleyball staff will assist each athlete in developing fundamental skills through game-speed drills, daily scrimmages aimed at developing the whole player. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring two snacks, knee pads, and water bottle. All participants receive a t-shirt,volleyball and player evaluation. Love art? Love animals? This is the camp for you! Get closer to animals using interactive art projects. Using HSWM animals as inspiration, campers will create several works of art through various mediums. One day will feature a visit from Brush Studios who will lead us through painting a masterpiece. Kinder Camp is designed especially for preschoolers ages 3-5.
