Tuesdays, 2:45 - 4:00pm No class 2/23, 3/29 Refund policy: If you decide to cancel your childs registration, we can offer you a full refund if you contact us to cancel before the date of the second class. If you cancel after that date there will be a $15 fee. Low enrollment: "Take My Word For It!" occasionally has to cancel a class due to low enrollment. (The minimum number of students varies from school to school). Typically we will meet on the first date while continuing to promote the class. Youth Climate Action Camp w/ Our Children's Trust - Ashland, OR
Our Children's Trust, Rogue Climate, the Geos Institute, and Trail Treckers are coming together to host a one day training for youth and their parents on how to become effective advocates for a stable climate. Elementary through high school students from around the Rogue Valley are welcome! Suggested ages are 9-18. Bring a sack lunch, and we will provide snacks! This exciting class teaches students how to build and program LEGO Mindstroms NXT Robots. Students will use their new skills to meet such challenges as maneuvering an obstacle course, pushing water bottles out of a ring and beating their opponents at the Sumo robots competition. Girls Soccer 1 - Brigham Young University
Enjoy four days of fast-paced training in the worlds most popular sport, soccer. Join BYU womens soccer head coach Jennifer Rockwood and BYU mens soccer head coach Chris Watkins for an exciting experience to refine your soccer skills while increasing your technical and tactical knowledge of the game. Participate in demanding training sessions, small-sided games and plenty of team scrimmages. BYU soccer camps are available for all levels of soccer players, from those just beginning competition to those who have had a high level of experience (premier club level and ODP). Many campers also attend to showcase their abilities in the hopes of someday earning a spot on a BYU soccer team roster. Camps not only will help you improve your overall knowledge of the game, but also will prove to be a valuable scouting and recruiting tool for the head coaches. All four weeks of camp are structured identically, where participants are grouped together by age, ability and gender. Goalkeepers are also welcome and will have keeper training sessions under the direction of BYU goalkeeper coaches/players. Week 4 AM - Taste of Optis - NESS
Its never too early to get on the water! The Taste of Optis class is designed for kids aged 6-11 and does not require sailing experience. Meant to be a fun group experience, it enables kids to get a taste of sailing in one week of instruction. Students will become familiar with water safety on the docks and in an optimist trainer, while learning what it feels like to be on the water. Over the week the students will be introduced to the different parts of the boat, knots, rigging and steering. One step at a time this is an important one to take in a nurturing environment with friendly and patient instructors. 860-535-9362
