Tuesday will be inspired by Gingerbread Baby and the making of gingerbread ornaments. Eric Carle takes the lead on Wednesday as we read the Mixed-up Chameleon and mix primary colors for an art project. Bring lawn chairs to relax in. This will be our final Kids Gun Safety Class this season. Ages 5-17. We have found that this is a great learning experience for parents and children alike. We are working with the local law enforcement community to have officers, equipment and K9's available for demonstration. Children will be shooting .22 and 9mm pistols as well as .22 rifles. An instructor will be with the children to assist in holding. Please confirm in the discussion thread if you are coming. Session One - Beals Point Beach State Park
The Folsom Lake SRA Junior Lifeguard Program trains children ages 8-16 years of age in aquatic safety, while providing them with an interactive and well rounded outdoor education. Each participant is given instruction and hands on training in CPR/1st Aid and Aquatic Rescue techniques/equipment. Educational trips include a river-rafting trip, bicycle tour of the American River bike trail, and ocean orientation during the Santa Cruz camping trip. **Please keep in mind that one uniform T-shirt and a JG rashguard are included in the tuition price. If you wish to purchase more uniform items, you may do so on this same registration site.
