Let the magical world of words take your child to a different place each day. Fancy Nancy, Bonjour Butterfly leads the week with the construction of a club house and exploring the butterfly cycle. Tuesday will be inspired by Gingerbread Baby and the making of gingerbread ornaments. Eric Carle takes the lead on Wednesday as we read the Mixed-up Chameleon and mix primary colors for an art project. We will learn about dinosaurs on Thursday inspired by Skippyjon Jones and the Big Bones and round off the week with Lets Go Rock Collecting touching rough and smooth rocks and ending the week by doing a charcoal self portrait. 7024070790.0

Bring lawn chairs to relax in. This will be our final Kids Gun Safety Class this season. Ages 5-17. We have found that this is a great learning experience for parents and children alike. We are working with the local law enforcement community to have officers, equipment and K9's available for demonstration. Children will be shooting .22 and 9mm pistols as well as .22 rifles. An instructor will be with the children to assist in holding. Please confirm in the discussion thread if you are coming. Donations of cash or ammo will be accepted at the registration table but are not mandatory for attendance. All donations go to future children's classes. Registration will start at 12:00 so please be early! Thanks!!

This program provides a unique experience for participants with varying skill levels to participate in recreation and socialization. A wide variety of fun activities including swimming, bowling, golf, organized games, special events, and arts and crafts. This program offers a 5 to 1 participant-staff ratio. Personal Care Attendants are encouraged to participate with any youth needing one-on-one attention. From fractions, to Fibonacci, to sound waves, sonar, diabolical tri-tones and Pokémon hit points, youll explore songwriting with the birds and paint the frequency of the earth with colorful corn starch. This course is for musicians, music-lovers, and anyone of all ages with a song in their heart just waiting to beat out its rhythm on re-purposed instruments! Let the swirls of color and movement capture your imagination! In this exciting 2 1/4 hr. camp, children will learn dancing with ribbons to fun music. The Folsom Lake SRA Junior Lifeguard Program trains children ages 8-16 years of age in aquatic safety, while providing them with an interactive and well rounded outdoor education. Each participant is given instruction and hands on training in CPR/1st Aid and Aquatic Rescue techniques/equipment. Educational trips include a river-rafting trip, bicycle tour of the American River bike trail, and ocean orientation during the Santa Cruz camping trip. **Please keep in mind that one uniform T-shirt and a JG rashguard are included in the tuition price. If you wish to purchase more uniform items, you may do so on this same registration site.
