Come to Gardner Camp for hands-on learning about wildlife and animals of all kinds. Nationally renowned World Bird Sanctuary will be at GC to present a live animal program where you will experience an up-close view of animals from all kingdoms. After learning about the different types of animals and the signs that animals leave behind, participants will test their investigation skills solving a mystery and go on a tracking adventure, weather permitting. Participants will also walk away with their very own handmade wildlife tracks t-shirt. Within this program, there is also a giveback opportunity to help World Bird Sanctuary. CAMP THEME: CARNIVAL COOKING & GAMES Playing with your food is the theme of this camp! Kids will take a hands-on approach to cooking. A different dish will be prepared each day. The camp involves food inspired art, cooking games, cupcake decorating, movies, table manners and more! All campers will receive their own chefs hat and recipe cards. Get ready for some cooking fun! Please be sure to indicate on your registration form if your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Supplies: Campers should bring a beverage and snack and plenty of water each day. Lunch will be provided daily in camp. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.
