This program provides campers with both on- and off-campus experiences. For each week-long session campers select one morning activity (see choices). After lunch, there are a variety of gym games, group activities, instructional swim, beach visits and tournament days. Each session includes one Undernight adventure—an extended field trip—on Thursday. Adventures revolve around a weekly theme. The Perfect Vacation
I have to admit that when we dropped our son off at Camp Kentahten my husband and I were a little bit jealous. We had planned our own mini-vacation to coincide with our son's summer camp stay but we were going to my parents. I would much rather stay at one of those gorgeous lakefront rooms. Division I, II, and III coaches will be attendance to scout and recruit the event. A great opportunity to get seen by numerous coaches and learn great deal to take your game to the next level! Some believe they have magical powers, others believe they simply bring good luck. The year is 2025. Our rocket ship has landed on a distant planet and our class has been asked to make it a comfortable place to live and explore. Well build homes, rovers, machines and spacecraft - and power them with LEGO® motors. The projects include: •A space home with rotating solar panels above the roof powered by a LEGO® motor •All-terrain rover equipped with a satellite dish to explore the planet and report findings back to base •Research buggy with extras like a drill to analyze rocks and dig for minerals •Spacecraft to travel around the planet This class is great for a LEGO® fanatic as well as someone new to the world of brick construction. Students learn how to incorporate gears into projects, use battery packs and motors to power creations, interlock bricks for strength, make sturdy connections with LEGO Technic® beams and pegs, and more! Students play with and test out their creations through obstacle courses, imaginative play, and various teacher-inspired missions. Students take home a LEGO® mini-build and camp T-shirt.
