Join BYU Cougarette Artistic Director Jodi Maxfield and the BYU Cougarettes for the best dance camp of the year! This camp is designed to prepare those who may have a desire to audition for and become part of the nine-time National Champion BYU Cougarette Dance Team. Train under the direction of BYUs nationally recognized dancers, including former and current BYU Cougarettes who have been on many of those successful national award-winning teams. You will receive quality instruction in all aspects of dance including technique, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, character and pom. Find out first hand what it takes to become a BYU Cougarette and learn how to prepare to succeed at the college level. Camp participants will be divided into groups that will allow the intermediate level dancer the time to increase her technique and improve on performance and showmanship. Advanced level dancers will work on ways to improve technique and become more proficient in the dance styles that the Cougarettes focus on throughout the year. 801-422-5724

Camp directors often suggest that families write children letters. Waiting a week before calling to check in can also relieve the parent and the child’s anxiety. Let's get our Oakland youth to Camp Common Ground Oakland! - Oakland,
Thank you so much for supporting Camp Common Ground's effort to get our youth leaders in Oakland to camp! Your attendance and participation at the launch of our second fundraiser will be imperative to ensuring that our youth from diverse racial and economic backgrounds can stand together this summer to break down barriers that exist between their communities. Come hungry and ready to drink, and don't forget your laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc. that we will use to get the word out about the fundraiser to all of our networks! What's the impact we will make in one day? The fundraiser will last for the entire month of March. During last month's fundraiser, Camp Common Ground supporters exceeded the fundraising goal of $4800. The $5400 raised will bring 4 Oakland youth to camp. During this fundraiser, we will raise $13,200, which will bring 16 more Oakland youth to camp--6 more on full scholarships and 10 on partial scholarships. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Love your #selfie Friday April 15th - Sunday April 17th $66 for the weekend $96 with transportation (pickup locations TBD) -There will be vans leaving from LA! This event is for Juniors only. Meaning ACYO members ages 12-17 Each participant must bring a signed (by a parent or guardian) waiver with them to retreat. If you do not bring a signed waiver you will not be able to attend the event. Waivers will be emailed a few days before the event so look out for them in your inbox. Where is all our water? Is water a renewable resource? In this program participants will explore this question through hands-on water chemistry experiments and other investigations that will help explain why access to clean fresh water has become one of our WGP---Worlds Greatest Problems---and why we need to solve it. Participants will develop a website to communicate what they have learned as well as explore other technical solutions that can help us all make every drop count! (630)9075950

Participants in Discovery Camp will engage in sports, art classes, swimming lessons, open swim, movie day and weekly field trips. There will be plenty of fun had by all. Participants provide their own sack lunch, swimsuit, towel, movie concession money. Snacks, swim instruction, open swim, all classes, movie admission and field trips are included. No camp July 4. Payment Plan Terms: A $100 deposit per camper and a $10 payment plan processing fee must be paid in full at registration. Remaining camp balance must be paid in full by Monday, June 6, 2016 to attend camp. Contact Recreation & Parks Department for more information. On-line registration for camps is not available. Refund requests made prior to the start date of a program will be cheerfully given less a 5% refund fee.
