Get out of the Heat for One Day to Serve Teen Moms at Younglives Camp
Spa Day is an annual event at YoungLives Camp for Teen Moms and Babies. For many of these girls, this will be the first time they are cared for in this manner, and we need a lot of help to make it happen! Volunteers are needed from 10:30-2:30 & lunch will be provided. No experience necessary. Once you get there, we will assign you to a station, so note your special skills or area you'd like to help: Facial Massage Body scrub kit creating Nails What a great opportuity to get out of the heat, and enjoy the beautiful property of Lost Canyon while serving young moms. Whether your child wants to attend a day camp with friends for the week, to explore an area of special interest, or to play a new sport, theyre sure to find something they love in one of the summer programs at Sayre. Three different programs are offered on campus during the summer. Summer Safari [] is an all-day camp for ages 3-11; Discovery Camps [] run for three hours (mornings or afternoons) and focus on an area of specialty (photography, robotics, video productions, etc.), and Athletic Camps [] focus on different sports. Week 6 PM - Wave Monkeys - NESS
Waves, waves and more waves! If you are a monkey and love being in the water and riding on waves, then this week is for YOU! We will be testing our water riding skills out on as many different types of boats & boards that we can. Boogie boarding, surfing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. This is the ultimate water adventure, testing your core, balance and fitness. This class has been specifically designed for ages 9 – 12 years old so no experience is necessary as long as you are comfortable on and in the water. We will teach you the basics! Basketball: Shooting & Offensive Moves Camp - Wolverine Camps
A specialty camp with strong emphasis on fundamentals, focusing on shooting skills and drills, and individual offensive moves. Campers are taught the valuable habits of individual offense (shooting mechanics, footwork, moves with and without the ball, passing, etc.) in a structured, non-competitive and positive atmosphere. Students explore electronics, coding, design and fashion as they create wearable technology.
