Recommended for children ages 8-12 years old. The Maker movement emphasizes learning by doing and encourages creativity, invention, and modeling. As the annual Maker Faire Bay Area occurs this month, we wanted to provide a workshop that captures the spirit of Making. Participants will be inspired as they work on a do it yourself (DIY) project supported by CuriOdyssey education staff. Kid's Day Camp (Mom's Day Out!) - Searcy, AR
You may drop children off for a 1/2 day or full day camp experience. Morning camp will consist of an acrylic 16 X 20 painting winter scene along with a hands-on activity. For the afternoon session, children will start with another hands-on craft with a smaller canvas painting. Children may be dropped off at 9:00 a.m. and picked up by 11:45 a.m. or drop off at 12:30 p.m. and picked up at 3:00 p.m. If you opt for full day (9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m.), your child(ren) will get to participate in both morning and afternoon activities. The cost for the day camp for 1/2 day is $35 for the full day will be $70. If staying the entire day, we will provide sausage, pepperoni, or cheese pizza with a drink, or you may bring your own sack lunch.
