This camp will ask our campers to dream big as we spend the week drawing up our creations for another FSMH Summer Camp Worlds Fair! At the weeks end, campers will get some more hands on creative experience with a trip to Wheaton Arts. While morning activities are geared toward the weeks theme, all weekly FSMH camps include a trip to the pool Monday-Thursday for a swim lesson and play time. Upper West Side Explorer Bridge Camp for Mandell 2s Families - The Mandell Pre Schools
Mandells Explorer Bridge Camp is a summer program designed to help newly enrolled 2s transition to their upcoming grade in the fall. Participating children will have the opportunity to meet classmates and teachers, and become familiar with the routines and expectations of their new class. Bridge Camp is offered from June 6 - July 1. The Hawks Haven Nest provides our youngest campers with the same quality and diverse program found in our Primary Camp. Campers participate in fun, active, enriching activities that are developmentally appropriate. While these children will not participate in off­-campus field trips, we will bring special events and activities to campus just for them! Famous Characters & Scene Study - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This class is designed for 3rd-5th grade students. The fun continues! For interested students with some acting experience. Well explore changing our voices and bodies to represent different characters from favorite and familiar stories like the Harry Potter series, The Wizard of Oz, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Secret Garden...perhaps well travel to Narnia. Students will get to stretch their wings a bit each week doing dramatic readings. Well include some fun theatre games and improv activities too! At the final class parents will be invited to a staged presentation. INSTRUCTOR ROBERTA MASTER-CULLEN has been teaching childrens classes and camps at the Little Theatre for seven years.
