Kids Camp Original - Wk. 4 (HD) - F. H. Hammond Elementary School
Kids Camp is one of thee most popular camps around the area! Have your child be a part of the camp that has so many great things to offer. This camp will keep your child(ren) of all ages entertained and occupied with games, arts and crafts, sports, themed days/weeks, Munster Community Pool visits, field trips and more! Each week a parent letter and itinerary will be compiled for you to take which will list all activities/trips for that week. These will be available on the sign-in table each week. All camp activities will be held between 9AM-4PM. Parents are able to drop their child(ren) off between 7AM-9AM and pick them up between 4PM-6PM. All scheduled activities and trips will take place during the 9AM-4PM time frame. Early drop-off/pick-up will be designated for free time, smaller organized games and/or board games. Full-day campers should pack a lunch, 2 snacks and plenty of water. Half-day campers should pack a snack and plenty of water. All campers should have their own sunscreen and wear gym shoes. Treibball Week 4 - Animal Training Adventure Center
Treibball is a new way to play with your dog! Its a competitive sport for dogs of all ages and sizes. Treibball promotes better teamwork and communication between a dog and his handler. Its great fun for any energetic dog who works well off-leash and needs a job. Playing the game uses a combination of classic obedience and herding cues. Treibball began in Germany to give energetic dogs some much needed mental and physical stimulation. It is a great game, and a perfect pastime for American dogs and their owners, too! Its fun for any dog that loves to play chase games, herd, or just use his amazing, problem-solving ability. Competing in Agility takes special equipment, the ability to run with your dog and direct him through each obstacle. Treibball promotes the same kind of teamwork and communication, but does not put any physical stress on the handler. This game can be used to build confidence for a shy dog and help a reactive dog with impulse control. The session will also include animal-themed games. Supervisor: Eva Karkuff. In this creative writing camp, students will work in groups to write their own plays and crate their own sets, costumes and casts. This camp will allow students to tap into their creativity where the sky is the limit!
