SummerART Camp Studio Art Morning Program 9:30am to 1:45pm Session II: July 11 to July 22 Studio Art Camp Matisse and Friends: Colors of the Modern Masters Purple skies, pink trees, red rooms, and green people! Its all about color and imagination this session, which will explore artwork by famous Modern and Post Modern masters like Henri Matisse, Paul Gauguin and Pablo Picasso. These artists experimented with depicting the world using fantastic colors, and a bold and expressive style of brushwork. We will experience color in a whole new way while working in fine art materials, found objects, collage, printmaking, and more! Campers will be inspired to create their own wild and wonderful masterpieces. Cubs Gymnastics 2 - Brigham Young University
Come experience an exciting week of gymnastics at BYU! Campers will gain experience in all areas of gymnastics: trampoline, tumbling mats, bars, rings, balance beams and floor. They will improve their coordination as they work with members of BYUs gymnastics teams and skilled local gymnasts. Participants will also enjoy drills, demonstrations and workouts on BYUs outstanding gymnastics facilities. Whether your child is a beginning gymnast or a budding young athlete, they will enjoy this unique opportunity to use some of the finest gymnastics facilities in the nation. Giant City, Pomona Natural Bridge and Cave-in-Rock are just some of the places we will visit during this week. We will also sneak in a trip to the Chocolate Factory and Dixon Springs State Park. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Make sure your child (grade 1-6) is a part of this awesome summer. Guided by our American Red Cross Certified Staff, this summer promises to be one adventure after the other. Campers should bring a swimsuit and towel, sunscreen and bug spray, a water bottle and lunch everyday. Afternoon snack will be provided. Children should wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes that they can wear while running and hiking. Camp will run from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
