The Perfect Vacation
I have to admit that when we dropped our son off at Camp Kentahten my husband and I were a little bit jealous. We had planned our own mini-vacation to coincide with our son's summer camp stay but we were going to my parents. I would much rather stay at one of those gorgeous lakefront rooms. KidFit is smart fitness for kids ages 8-13! Kids learn skills that instill proper functional movement patterns applicable to ANY sport or activity. We teach kids how to maintain proper body balance, strength, and mobility, all in a FUN environment! Each day includes a skill practice, team building exercises, body rolling, experiential anatomy, and injury preventions techniques. We also teach kids how to fuel our bodies for optimal health and performance. This program is developed by coaches who are also parents...we care about your kids health and fitness! 3-two week sessions are available. Join us as we collect NEW Coats for Kids and cover the end zone of Joan C. Edwards Football Stadium! We will be collecting coats all through the months of October and November. Drop your NEW coat off today, at the designated Goodwill locations (Virginia Avenue, 9th Avenue, Lavalette, Milton & Barboursville) or at the Marshall home games on 10/24 and 11/14. Donate a NEW coat for the campaign and be entered in a drawing for: 4 chairback seats to the Marshall vs. FIU game on 11/14 & an on-field experience at the game. All of the coats that are collected will be given (FREE of charge) to local children. Help us keep our youngest Herd fans warm this winter and make your donation today! #CoatsforKids

We hope that our campers will get an inside look at our womens basketball program here at Nebraska University. Our campers can expect to learn both basic funadmentals and advanced skills. Our campers will also benefit from working with a division one staff in addition to our womens basketball players. Session 9 - Camp Half Blood
Camp Half-Blood is offered in one-week sessions to boys and girls ages 7 through 12. Each session pulls its theme from a different Greek Myth. Using storytelling, live action role play and physically and mentally engaging activities, campers work with their friends to develop new skills, solve problems and create summer memories that will last a lifetime. Demi-Gods will learn archery, sword-fighting, forging, story-making, myth-writing, and create greek-inspired crafts. All of which theyll need in their weekly (quests) to find and defeat the ancient monsters that roam the hills and paths of our Prospect Park campsite. Camp Half-Blood is open to demi-Gods ages 7-12. Our drop-off and pick-up location is at the 9th Street and Prospect Park West entrance to Prospect Park.
