Part of the festivities is the Kid's Camp, where we endeavor to provide safe, affirming, and awesomely fun activities to the children attending the camp. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we are low on volunteers on Friday afternoon and evening and all day Saturday. If you are available any portion of the day Friday from noon to 7 p.m. or Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and can supply a valid child abuse clearance (within the last 2 years), please message me. This camp offers an exciting introduction into the basics of Paleontology! This exciting adventure in Paleontology will have your child playing in the dirt and having the time of their lives! Beginning Songwriting - Old Trail School
Campers will interact and explore their creative ideas, as Dawn Sommerfield from DeMarcos School Of Music will teach basic songwriting. Campers will analyze popular music and use those songwriting formulas to compose lyrics and music in a fun group setting. Campers that play an instrument are encouraged to bring their instrument, however no previous musical experience is required. All who want to be creative are welcome.
