LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Young Builder (HALF DAY ONLY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is the HALF DAY option for Young Builder. Campers ages 4-5 will want to join us to learn exciting construction techniques using LEGO® bricks. Little Builder allows campers to take their first steps into science and engineering. By using the themes of construction and travel, campers learn about machines, the tools used to work on machines, and their functions. Our material packs include a wide range of bricks and special elements in various shapes, sizes, and colors that are ideal for stimulating childrens creative and imaginative skills. Camp counselors will introduce tasks each day in building vehicles, planes, buildings, towns and transportation systems as we work in groups to build a LEGO city! Campers receive lots of suggestions for ideas but are encouraged to use their own creativity and imagination. Stories and games are also incorporated into this camp, perfect for our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Our pre-k half day camps are 9am-1pm with pre camp options available as well! Please pack a peanut-free snack, bag lunch and refreshment for your child. Each camper receives one free camp t-shirt with each week of registration - order as many extras as you want at checkout! There are low cost or free day camp programs offered for children with special needs. Programs that are best suited for children have to provide very rigid structure, well-trained staff, and individualized attention. 40 Years of Camp Goddard - Reunion (SouthMac) - Sulphur, OK
This is a TENTATIVE event page to see who would be interested in heading to Goddard Youth Camp for a weekend in June 2016. Please invite everyone that you know who has attended "Camp Goddard" through South MacArthur Church of Christ to like this event and the Facebook page. This Reunion will be open to all ages and families are encouraged to come together! There is enough cabin space for 210 people. Cabin spaces will be available in groups of 10 on a first come, first served basis. Restrictions: Older couples or those with major medical issues will be given cabin preference if they would prefer not to sleep in tents/RV's. Camping with tents/RV's will be a slightly cheaper option than cabins because we may be expecting more than 210 people. Teen Snow Camp Camp at CoBeAc - Prudenville, MI
Every teen is looking for a reason to take a few days off school and have some fun. Camp CoBeAc offers the opportunity for teens to break away from busy schedules and loads of homework. Come and spend a few days at camp for a time to relax physically and recharge spiritually. This exciting weekend contains five preaching sessions by Pastor Kurt Skelly, late night tubing, volleyball and basketball tournaments, team competitions, blazing fireplace, human foosball, special skit hour, annual broom hockey tournament, cozy coffee shop and gift store, delicious meals, and so much more!!! Cost is $95, and you must pre-register with the church. Teens will need money for meals on the way up and back, as well as spending money at the coffee shop and gift store. We leave on Thursday, Jan. 28 and return on Saturday, Jan. 30. Pick up a registration form at church!
