This camp focuses on Christian faith and horses; two of my Daughter's favorite things
I was excited to find this camp for my 12 year old daughter. She is naturally a quiet child, but she loves horses. This camp helped her stretch outside her comfort zone as she socialized with other children who also shared her love of horses. She couldn’t stop telling us how she explored the prairie on horseback. Come and join the fun at Sugar Pine during February Break! It’s going to be an exciting week full of friends, adventure and growth. You’ll play lots of games: including target sports, board games, and adventurous activities. You’ll explore the beauty of the mountains during the daily nature lessons and get “creative” making crafts and learning new skills. Each day will have reading & journal times and open times to play with friends, make crafts, join the Game Room Tournament or visit the Old Mill Cafe. What is Day Camp? Kid's Adventure Day Camp was created as a safe, fun and educational event for 3rd-6th graders during school breaks. Parents can drop-off their children knowing that they will be cared for by experienced staff members who's primary concern is to provide a safe and fun environment for every child. NO CLASS JULY 4. Stop thinking, start doing! The fun and games of improv teach awareness, trust and going with your gut. Learning to create scenes that everyone will swear came from a script. Discover how easy it is to find the funny. No memorization, no rehearsals, no mistakes - just bring your desire to have a good time. INSTRUCTOR BIO: KEELY KIRK stepped into the improv abyss at a tender age and found a place to be herself. She began training with Mental Floss, a Miami-based improv/sketch troupe which performed at the Coconut Grove Playhouse until Hurricane Andrew blew it all away. She went on to be a principal performer for over ten years with Laughing Gas Comedy Improv --Miamis longest-running improv theatre company. She then decided that Miami was just too warm and balmy and moved to Chicago (the improv epicenter), where she was involved with and trained with IO (formally Improv Olympics) and Second City. While in Chicago, Keely decided to follow President Obama to Washington D.C., to become his presidential jester; however, due to government cutbacks, she was furloughed.
