Children enjoy new experiences each day at four top arts centers, including the Guthrie Theater, Mill City Museum, Minnesota Center for Book Arts and MacPhail Center for Music. Campers will start each day at Mill City Museum and walk with camp leaders less than three blocks to each art organization. Horses Horses Horses - Camp Mardela
Campers will have opportunities to learn about horses and equestrian safety, and they will experience riding. Campers will stay at Camp Mardela and travel offsite for riding activities. Activities may vary based on schedules and availability. In addition to Horse Camp activities, there will be time for traditional camp activities. Birdie Bombers (Ages 5-9) - Whitetail Ridge Golf Club
Do your children love to: play games, run around, jump obstacles, roll down hills, make friends, and have FUN? Do you think they would love to do all that, while they learn how to GOLF?! The answer is, undeniably, YES! Birdie Bombers Program will introduce FUN golf related exercises and activities to our existing golf instruction! We will spend roughly 30 minutes on basic instruction, along side 30 minutes of FUN activities and exercises! All of our youth baseball, basketball, football, tennis, and swimming camps have been implementing FUN activities to build strength, speed, endurance, and hand eye coordination. Years of research has taught us how important Fitness and Nutrition is to the golf swing. The balance learned from walking across a balance beam relates directly to the balance required for a great golf swing. The speed and weight transfer involved with swinging a golf club can be improved by throwing a ball as far as they can. Simply rolling down a hill will teach them body control and rotation which is directly related to the golf swing.
